Where to Stay in the Algarve
Find accommodation across every Algarve municipality. From surf lodges and golf resorts to heritage pousadas and guesthouses.
Each municipality has its own accommodation character. Surf lodges and eco-retreats line the west coast, luxury resorts cluster around the Golden Triangle, heritage pousadas occupy the historic towns of the east, and family-friendly beach hotels spread along the central coast. Pick a municipality below to see what's available and what we'd recommend.

Open stay guideBooking Tips
Make the most of your Algarve accommodation
When to Book
High season (May–September) requires booking 2–3 months ahead. Peak summer (July–August) ideally 3–6 months. Booking early secures better properties and more competitive prices.
Best Value
May–June and September–October combine good weather with lower prices. The eastern Algarve is generally cheaper than the west.
Transport
A rental car opens up more accommodation options. Properties outside main towns often offer better value and more character.
Direct Booking
Many hotels offer better rates or perks when booking directly. Always check the official website alongside booking platforms.
